Gasket Notes

There is no gasket fitted between the inner and outer magneto casings or between the crankcase halves on Starmaker or Stormer engines.
These joints should be sealed with non-hardening jointing compound such as Wellseal or Hylomar Gold or Blue.

There is also no cylinder head gasket used on un-modified Starmaker or Stormer engines. The head simply torques down on to the top of the liner to form a seal. Clean and lightly oil the mating surfaces before tightening down evenly to 21lb/ft. (28.47Nm)
